CJ 3460 AMERICAN COURT SYSTEMS

This course provides an in depth examination of the history, philosophy, principles, structure and processes of the American court system including the role of the judiciary. Topics will include the relationship between branches of the state and federal court system including the municipal, superior and appellate courts. The course will also provide an in depth discussion of the United State Supreme Court as it impacts the criminal justice system.
