MUS 4000 MUSIC TEACHER & CLASSROOM MUSIC TEACHER IN THE CLASSROOM

Clinical practice seminar provides support and encouragement for the professional intern via weekly meetings with other interns, university supervisor(s), as well as music education faculty. Seminars will emphasize the continued development of classroom management and organizational techniques through their reflections and analysis of music classroom dynamics. Instructional design and assessment supporting educational theories with consideration of school context and varied student characteristics are also emphasized. Prerequisites: Completion of 95 semester hours of course work which must include the following; Music Education major curriculum and EDUC 3000, EDUC 3401, EMSE 3903, ID 2955 Co-requisite: MUS 4301 Course and Title revised as of: 12/12/17
