CJ 3630 POLICE IN AMERICA
This course will serve as an introduction to policing and various theoretical concepts associated with environmental and intelligence based policing strategies. This course will serves as an overview for various topics that are associated with policing in America. Topics for this course will include interpretations of law enforcement organizations at local, state, and federal levels, police management, police subculture, and accountability for civil and criminal liabilities. Prerequisite(s): CJ 2600 or permission of instructor
