NURS 6120 LEGAL AND ETHICAL IMPLICATIONS IN RESEARCH

Actions essential for conducting research legally and ethically, with modules including: Introduction to the Responsible Conduct of Research from the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, the Collaborative Institutional Training Institutes (CITI), the institutional review board (IRB) training sponsored by the National Institutes for Health (NIH) and the Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC) sponsored by the Laboratory Animal Training Association. Certification is granted as required compliance with Kean University policies and procedures for the protection of human and animal subjects in research. Activities with kean University's Human Rights Institute are incorporated to promote added awareness of human rights issues and violations across the globe.
