Special topics consists of areas of mathematics that are not covered in standard courses offered by the department. The content may vary reflecting the interests of the instructor. It may include advanced material beyond that which is covered in a usual course or cross disciplines within the Mathematical Sciences. Semester Hours: Three (3). Elective Prerequisite(s): 15 credits in Mathematics or permission of the instructor
