MATH 4545 MATHMATEMATICAL STATISTICS

Transformation of variables, relations among some commonly used distributions, moment generating functions, sum and division of variables, proof of central limit theorem, joint distributions, conditional expectation methods, efficiency and sufficiency, mathematical reasoning in T-test, ANOVA-test, Chi-square test, and some basic nonparametric tests. Semester Hours: Three (3). Required for Statistics Majors, elective for Math majors. Prerequisite(s): MATH*3544 or permission of the instructor;
