TECH 2504 DIGITAL SYSTEMS AND COMMUNICATIONS

This course covers topics necessary to understanding the digital underpinnings of computer operation. Topics include number systems, logic gates, Boolean Algebra and Karnaugh Maps, combinational logic circuits, latches and flip-flops, shift registers, counters, programmable logic, data storage, analog and digital signas and their conversion, data transmission, processing and control. Lab course Prerequisites: TECH 1010 and MATH 1000 COURSE TYPE: Required for Information Technology Majors
