STME 2200 MATH/COMP METHODS III MATH/COM METHODS III
This is a third semester course, complemented by lab course STME 2299. This course emphasizes applications systems of linear equations, finite dimensional vector spaces, vectors, matrices, ordinary differential equations, foundations of Vector Calculus, linear transformations including the Fourier Transform. Applications include population dynamics models, harmonic analysis of audio signals, data reduction using projections onto low dimensional subspaces.
