SPAN 3225 LATIN AMERICAN CIVILIZATION I

An illustrated lecture course on the culture of Latin America from the Pre-Colombian times to Independence. Emphasis will be placed on the geographical and historical backgroung, arts and letters, economic and social problems, philosophy and education. Course conducted in Spanish. Prerequisite: SPAN 2102 or permission of instructor.
