ITAL 1102 BASIC ITALIAN II

Introduction to the Italian language, focusing on the relationship between language and Italian culture. Emhasis on developing grammatical competence and communicative skills: listening, speaking, reading, and writing. Six credit hours of one foreign language must be successfully completed to receive three credit hours toward the General Education Disciplinary Requirement for Foreign Languages. Lab required. Prerequisite:Prerequisite: 0-2 yrs high school Italian or equivalent and permission of instructor. Not open to native speakers of Italian. Not open to native speakers of Italian.
