ID 2601 CHEMICAL SYSTEMS II
A continuation of Chemical Systems I (ID 2401). A thorough discussion of the basic principles of general and inorganic chemistry such as solid and liquid states, solutions, chmeical kinetics and equilibrium, acid/base theories, chemical thermodynamics and electrochemistry. Mathematical relationships and problem-solving are stressed. Integrated Laboratory will include advanced versions of classical experiments and an intro- duction to modern instrumentation. (3 hr.lec/ 6 hr. lab). Prerequisite: ID 2401 Corequisite: ID 2603
