HIST 2070 WORLD CIVILIZATION II

An introduction to the history of world civilizations and historical thinking from the beginning of human civilization from 1500, the first truly global age, to the present. The course gives students an understanding of the past as it relates to both the present and future, with an emphasis on the emergence of institutions, cultures, and religions, and the importance of global encounter in shaping history.
