GBUS 4300 GLOBAL OPERATIONS

This integrative course is designed to introduce the principles and practices of effectively managing global operations. Global managers interact with complex and dynamic environments where-in they must analyze and respond to the economic, trade, political, legal, geographic, geo-political, demographic, technological, competitive and ethical drivers that shape their operations and growth strategies. Successfully managing such global interdependence depends on cultural sensitivity as well as, competence in formulating and implementing global strategy within the multi-faceted interplay among the home-country and host-countries' management values and practices. Special emphasis is dedicated to global market strategy and human resources management.
