ENG 3005 INTRO TO WRITING STUDIES
Instruction in more sophisticated methods of invention and more advanced techniques in expository, analytical and persuasive writing than offered in English 1020. Emphasis on indentifying and addressing specific audiences and on appreciating and developing varieties of style. Practice in editing and evaluating both professional and student writing.
