EMSE 3801 CLINICAL PRACTICE I IN SUBJECT AREA INSTRUCTION, P -12

Fifteen full days or thirty half days in a middle school or high school classroom with focus on content-specific instruction: teaching strategies, planning instruction, goals and objectives, authentic assessment, classroom management, and edTPA portfolio construction. REQUIRED: CLINICAL II, III, and IV must be taken back to back and in consecutive order. For all students in the Secondary Education Program (P-12) PREREQUISITES: Declared Education Major, completion of 65 hours of coursework, 3.0 G.P.A., EDUC 3000 and 3401. CO-REQUISITE: Appropriate Content Methods Course: EMSE 3210, 3220, 3230, 3240, or 3250; EMSE 3122 Technology in Education
