CJ 3800 CRIMINAL INVESTIGATION

Examines the scientific and legal nature of the criminal investigative function. Introduces the scientific methods associated with the criminal investigative process. The course covers the basic principles of investigations, preservation and collection of physical evidence within the context of the American judicial system. Prerequisite: CJ 2600 and CJ 2610
