CHEM 4284 EXP ANALTICAL PROB SOLVING

Required course in Major for BS chemistry/Chemical Instrumentation Options ACS certified and for BS Science & Technology/Chemical Instumentation Option. Course Description: A student driven laboratory course where the student is presented with an analytical problem in which identification and quantification of compounds are the primary goals. The student designs and implements a semester long research project(s) rooted in apropriate analytical chemical techniques. A written project report and oral presentation of work is required. This course does not replace Independant Research. (1 hr. Lecture, 5 hrs Laboratory) Prerequisite: Chem 2584, Chem 3284, Chem 3383
