CHEM 3181 ORGANIC CHEMISTRY LECTURE I

A first course in organic chemistry. The nature and reactions of organic compounds are studied via functional group organization. Atomic and molecular orbital theory; aliphtic, aromatic, alicyclic; reaction mechanisms; resonance; stereoisomerism; conformational analysis; and free radicals. (3 hr. lec.)
