CHEM 1030 ESSENTIALS OF CHEMISTRY
Fundamental concepts in general, organic and biochemistry are covered, providing examples of chemistry in health care and real life applications. Problem solving and critical scientific thought stressed. (3 hr. lec./1 hr. rec./3 hr. lab.) Required for Occupational Therapy majors. Prerequisite: High School Chemistry or Equivalent and (1)One 1000 level math course Satisfies GE disciplinary/interdisciplinary requirement in chemistry
