As the only program of its kind, Kean’s Jewish Studies and World Affairs program provides a unique advantage to students who want to further their understanding of Jewish traditions and cultures. The program’s innovative emphasis on creative Jewish interactions with other cultures additionally offers a solid basis of comparison with other cultures and peoples.
Among the program’s attractions for the 150-200 students who enroll in Jewish Studies courses each semester are:
- An inventory of 24 courses: 8 to 10 courses offered each semester
- 27 distinguished Jewish Studies affiliate faculty representing 13 disciplines;
- Support for students in internships, careers, community service, service learning and study abroad programs.
