This course is a review of music fundamentals including note and rhythm reading, scales, intervals, triads, and seventh chords. Music Theory 104 includes harmonic analysis, keyboard skills, part-writing, harmonic progressions and cadences.

Upon completion of this course, a student will be able to:
- Identify and write Intervals, Triads, and Dominant 7th Chords
- Harmonize simple melodies and recognize cadences
- Complete harmonic analysis of Bach four-part chorales
- Learn beginning part-writing techniques
- Play simple melodies on the piano
- Compose, notate, and perform your own composition
- Identify Pitches in the Treble and Bass Clef and on the Piano
- Read and clap rhythms in simple and compound meters
- Sing, write, and hear Major and Minor scales
- Identify and write Major and Minor key signatures
