This course is designed to offer exposure into clinical environments and offer students to witness first-hand the knowledge and skills that they acquire throughout the Paramedic lecture and Paramedic Lab series. These opportunities also give the opportunity to demonstrate student’s affective domain.

IV. Student Learning Outcomes

Upon completion of this course, a student will be able to:

  • At the completion of this course, the paramedic student will be able to integrate pathophysiological principles and assessment findings to formulate a field impression and implement the treatment plan for the medical patient.
  • At the completion of this course, the paramedic student will be able to integrate pathophysiological principles and assessment findings to formulate a field impression and implement the treatment plan for neonatal, pediatric, and geriatric patients, diverse patients, and chronically ill patients.
  • At the completion of this course, the paramedic student will be able to integrate pathophysiological principles and assessment findings to formulate a field impression and implement the treatment plan for patients with common complaints.
