WELL 101 Lifelong Wellness 1

This 1-credit course lays the foundation for lifelong wellness by introducing students to seven dimensions of wellness (physical, intellectual, emotional, spiritual, social, environmental, financial) and allowing students to practice behavior change in at least three dimensions through establishing, practicing and reflecting on individualized SMART goals. Corequisite: WELL 100.

III. Catalog Course Description

This 1-credit course lays the foundation for lifelong wellness by introducing students to seven dimensions of wellness (physical, intellectual, emotional, spiritual, social, environmental, financial) and allowing students to practice behavior change in at least three dimensions through establishing, practicing and reflecting on individualized SMART goals. Corequisite: WELL 100.

  • Define the seven dimensions of wellness
  • Develop a behavior change strategy for implementing each SMART goal
  • Evaluate SMART goals
