This course is designed for non majors who desire to learn the touch method for keyboarding. Students must type 20 correct words a minute on a two minute timed test to pass

IV. Student Learning Outcomes

Upon completion of this course, a student will be able to:

  • Increase keying speed and increase accuracy.
  • Demonstrate correct form and technique while keying.

V. Topical Outline (Course Content)

Build basic keyboarding speed and accuracy Key all alphabetic and numeric keys "by touch" using appropriate technique. Type 25 correct words per minute on a two-minute timed test
