This course will continue exploration of the commands and applications of Excel electronic spreadsheets, including graphs, database functions, simple macros and more. Prerequisite: ADMN 110 or consent of instructor

Upon completion of this course, a student will be able to:

  • Explain the purpose of a table, form, report and query in a relation database.
  • Create objects in a database to store, retrieve and manage information

V. Topical Outline (Course Content)

Create a new database. Create a database from a template. Sort and query a database. Create complex queries. Create forms to enter and delete records and to display data in a database. Create reports to display database information.
