ACCB 240 Certified Bookkeeping Course*
This is a capstone course required for students in their final semester of the AAS in Accounting/Bookkeeping. Students will be guided through the American Institute of Professional Bookkeeping (AIPB) national curriculum. An optional national exam is available, at the student’s cost, to obtain the Certified Bookkeeper credential through the AIPB. - Master adjusting entre and demonstrate how and when they are used.
- Master correcting entries and demonstrate how and when they are used.
- Master payroll and demonstrate understanding of accuracy.
- Master depreciation and demonstrate depreciation for financial and tax reports.
- Master inventory including, purchases, sales, and various costing methods.
- Master internal controls and fraud prevention in order to understand how basic internal controls are used.
