NURR 210 Nursing 3

As the third course in the Registered Nursing Program sequence, the focus of this course is the developmnet of nursing knowledge of physcial and mental wellness and illness across the lifespan, the role of the nurse, and caring by providing patient-centered care to individuals experiencing acute and chronic medical surgical disorders. Emphasis will be on medical surgical interventions, Pharmacology, therapeutic nutrition, medical terminology and critical thinking are integrated throughtout the course. Prerequisites: NURR 112. Corequisities: Wellness (at least 1 cr), Humanities (3 cr.), Comm 101 (3 cr).
