This course is an introduction to the study of structure (anatomy) and function (physiology) of the human body. The following systems are studied: endorcrine, cardiovascular, lymphatic, immune, respiratory, digestive, urinary, and reproductive. Unifying themes of homeostasis and whole-body functioning are emphasized. The laboratory sessions include cadaver prosection. The course conforms to guidelines established by the Human Anatomy and Physiology Society. Prerequisite: BIOL 237. Corequisite: BIOL 238L.
