The Agribusiness Program provides students with a great beginning to a rewarding career. Students in the AAS program can enter into a well paying job after two years.

Upon successful completion of the Agribusiness program, a student will be able to: 

  1. Identify and apply at a basic level economic and marketing principles and strategies used in farm and agribusiness applications.
  2. Research, evaluate, and interpret economic news and trends and using economic theory, apply to agricultural business.
  3. Demonstrate a practical understanding of production agriculture and challenges impacting agricultural producers and agribusinesses.
  4. Use mathematical calculations in the analysis and decision-making process used in agribusiness management.
  5. Discuss agricultural, biological, and technical systems and their relationship to agribusiness decision-making.
  6. Explain economic drivers in the agricultural value chain including market drivers, cost drivers, government drivers, competitive drivers, and others.
