PHYS-2072 Analytical Physics II

(SCIENTIFIC REASONING LAB) A general survey of physics topics, including electricity, magnetism, optics, modern physics, and thermal physics. Calculus is used extensively, and some familiarity with computers is assumed. Class includes both lecture and lab. This course is intended for math-physics majors and dual-degree engineering students and is strongly recommended for any student majoring in the sciences or mathematics. In special circumstances, a student with previous physics experience may take this course without PHYS-2071. Consult instructor. Credit for PHYS-2072 will not be granted to students who have completed PHYS-2001. Formerly PHY-272.
