EDU-304 Literacy Assessment and Intervention

Emphasis is placed on literacy assessment and intervention across the age and grade levels. Students will develop a functional familiarity with how to use various literacy assessments to drive reading and writing instruction.

This is a Community-Engaged Learning course and includes work with a community partner to address a community-identified problem, challenge, or need.

Prerequisite

EDU-202, EDU-253, and EDU-305 must be completed prior to taking this course. Student must also be admitted to the teacher education program.
