THE-212 Theatrical Design Foundations
All areas of theatrical design—scenery, costumes, lighting, properties, projections, and sound—utilize the same core elements and principles. This introductory course is designed to give students the necessary skills through exploration and application of various rendering styles and media, as well as presentation delivery of artistic and creative ideas.
Theatrical Design Foundations will prepare the student interested in continuing on to one or more specific design courses: THE-310 Costume Design, THE-340 Scenic Design, or THE-311 Lighting Design.
