Sport Administration Certificate
The post-baccalaureate certificate in Sport Administration program consists of 14 credits and prepares individuals with a B.A. or B.S. degree for careers in the growing business of sport and athletic administration. Successful completion of the program provides a foundation for recent graduates, coaches and professionals interested in careers in management of sport programs or sports marketing and communication. This certificate program also serves as excellent preparation for those wishing to pursue a master's degree in Sport Administration.
Certificate Requirements
The Sport Administration certificate program is offered through the Business and Accounting Department. This program requires successful completion of 14 credits: twelve credits in core subject areas and a minimum of two internship credits. Courses for this program are not sequential, so a candidate may begin their studies in either the fall or spring semester.
To earn a post-baccalaureate certificate in Sport Administration at The College of Idaho, a candidate's graduate coursework must be completed with a 2.0 GPA or better. All coursework and internship hours must also be completed within five years of matriculation into the program.

Internship
Candidates for the post-baccalaureate certificate in Sport Administration are required to complete a minimum of 2 credits in an approved internship experience. Internship credits may be earned in either the fall or spring semesters, and are based on the number of on-site hours worked during the internship experience.
