HIS-401 Seminar in Historical Methods
A capstone for the history major focusing on
advanced research and historiography. Students
must have completed two research portfolios in
two "Research Intensive" courses from two
different regional distribution categories prior
to enrolling. Primary emphasis is on preparing an
advanced primary-source based-research project.
Prerequisites: HIS-280, Senior standing, and
Instructor permission. Prerequisites also include
completion of two "research intensive" courses
from two different regional distribution areas.
Prerequisite
HIS-280 must be completed, Senior standing and Instructor
permission obtained prior to registering for this course.
