Inclusion and Intercultural Engagement

The Inclusion and Intercultural Engagement department is committed to helping create a campus culture that values inclusive, intercultural engagement. The department supports student Identity expression through intentional professional and peer mentoring relationships, leadership workshops, mentoring/leadership retreats, guest speakers on empowerment and leadership, recruitment initiatives, scholarship programs, peer tutoring and advising and community-wide programming, tutor volunteer work with neighboring high schools and club/organization activities that include:

  • International and Latino mentoring program
  • bilingual FAFSA presentations to Latino parents and students
  • Cinco de Mayo community celebration
  • cultural awareness training for members of our campus community

  • Latino high school student leadership conferences
  • Davis United World College Summit  

We provide resources related to F-1, J-1, or M-1, visas, CPT/OPT and support services including advising on academic, personal, career, immigration, orientation, cultural awareness, and other adjustment related matters.
