Academic Progress
Each student is expected to make satisfactory progress toward obtaining the degree, diploma, or certificate declared. The cumulative grade point average (GPA) is reviewed at the end of each semester to determine whether the student has made the expected academic progress. The minimum cumulative GPA for remaining in good academic standing is a 2.0. When the cummulative GPA falls below 2.0 a student is considered to be making unsatisfactory academic progress and will be placed on academic probation.
Career and College Promise students follow additional guidelines established in the Career and College Promise Operation Procedures for maintaining eligibility and academic standing.
For more information on academic progress, probation and suspension please refer to Policy 5.2.6 – Academic Progress and Honors.
