The Associate in General Education - Medical Assisting Applicant (AGE) is designed for students who wish to begin their study toward a career in Medical Assisting. This degree is designed to allow exploration within the discipline of Medical Assisting while working towards acceptance in the competitive admission program. Many of the courses are equivalent to college transfer courses; however, the program is not principally designed for college transfer.
Admission to the Medical Assisting program is competitive. Students completing the Associate in General Education - Medical Assisting program are not guaranteed admission into the program.
