English as a Second Language (ESL)
English as a Second Language classes are for adults who are non-native English speakers. Instructional activities in reading, writing, speaking, and listening are designed to meet individual needs. Computerized instruction is available in the classroom to enhance ESL student progress. There are three levels of English as a Second Language: beginner, intermediate, and advanced. Upon completion of the ESL program, students are eligible to continue in the Adult Basic Education or General Educational Development programs.
