Human Resources Development (HRD)

The Human Resources Development Program provides skill assessment services, employability skills training, and career development to individuals in transition and in the emerging workforce including unemployed and underemployed adults.

The goal of HRD is to enhance and develop the student's employability skills; assist the student in accessing meaningful training and/or employment opportunities; and develop and promote the individual's ability to acquire economic self-sufficiency.

The curriculum includes assessment of an individual's assets and limitations, development of positive self-concept, employability skills, communication skills, problem-solving skills, and awareness of the impact of information technology in the workplace.
