Military Reserve: Active Duty Call-UP
Students who are members of military reserve units and are alerted that they may be called into active duty should know that they may be required to leave the University prior to completing the academic term. Students who are called to active duty by the Department of Defense during an academic quarter have three options:
- Withdraw outright, receiving a grade of AW (administrative withdrawal) in all courses and a 100 percent tuition credit for the quarter.
- Receive a grade of W in some courses (within the current refund policy) and negotiate with faculty members for Incompletes or grades in other courses.
- Negotiate with faculty members for Incompletes or grades in all courses, in which case there is no refund.
