ENT 401 Entrepreneurship: Creating and Starting a New Venture

This course addresses whether an idea is economically viable, how one would drive customers to this business, and how the business would be organized. This addresses “the numbers” (i.e., finance); how to identify and create a substantial customer base (i.e., marketing); and how this venture might be organized (i.e., management). It examines accounting, finance, marketing, and management concepts as they apply to developing a business plan and starting the venture. Students develop an idea and present the business plan, including marketing, organizational, and financial components. Prerequisite: ENT 302. (3)
