PSY 316 Stress Management

Stress is part of everyday life---but how you handle it can make all the difference. This course dives into the science of stress and burnout, exploring not only what causes them but also how to recognize the signs before they take over. More importantly, you'll learn practical, evidence-based strategies to prevent and manage stress in ways that actually work for you. From exercise and nutrition to mindfulness, breathing techniques, biofeedback, time management, and progressive relaxation, you'll build your own personalized toolkit for resilience. By the end of the course, you'll walk away with skills you can use right now to feel more balanced, focused, and in control---both inside and outside the classroom.
