IDS 441 Cooperative Education for Interdisciplinary Studies (or a class towards a minor, a certificate, or a dual-credit advantage program)
This course provides students with real-world experiences where they become acquainted with daily workplace operations while enhancing their professional skills and interacting with other working professionals. This experiential learning course places students in the workplace; academic work includes a resume, a job description, a portfolio of work-related material, and a reflective essay. Additional career-related assignments may be added to reach the learning objectives. Students must complete at least 140 cumulative co-op hours for 3 credits; 280 hours for 6 credits.

60 or more earned credits; 2.5 cumulative GPA; approval of program chair or work-integrated learning office director
