Program Requirements
Candidates are expected to complete all requirements associated with the Bachelor of Science in Education Studies with a concentration in Elementary Education K-6. Candidates must register for and complete EDU 102 E-folio and EDU 203 Instructional Technology as initial courses in the program. These courses are pre-requisites for all other education courses. In EDU 203, candidates will learn more about the importance and usefulness of E-folio and will also learn to use a variety of technology applications designed to enhance teaching and learning. The grade of C- is the minimum grade accepted for all College of Education and Liberal Arts core courses (ECE, EDU, RDG, and EPY).

The curriculum for the Bachelor of Science in Education Studies, Elementary Education K-6 is the same as for the Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education, K-6, EXCEPT that no clinical courses are included. See notes below.
