BIOE 159E Marine Ecology Field Quarter: Behavioral Ecology
Study of animal behavior from an ecological and evolutionary perspective, using lectures, exercises, discussion, and research experience in the field. Emphasis on marine environments with exposure to extraterrestrial systems and laboratory studies. Focus on how scientists study animal behavior and what has been learned about evolution and ecology and ecology of animal behavior. Admission by interview during previous winter quarter.
BIOE 159E is equivalent to
BIOE 140 for major requirements.
BIOE 159A,
BIOE 159B,
BIOE 159C, and
BIOE 159E must be taken concurrently.
