COMM 195 Art of Film

Teaches students to analyze a film, gain an understanding of cinematic terminology that includes narrative, color, sound, light, editing, cinematography, mise-en-scene, and the medium itself. Introduces genres such as horror, comedy, documentary and avant-garde. Draws on films from across the globe.
