IT 102 Computing Professional Assessment
This course is designed for students with working experience (government, military, and business) in the fields of information technology, cybersecurity, computer science, or data science, who are looking to graduate in one of the programs in the School of Technology and Innovation. Students complete a portfolio documenting educational and work experiences for evaluation, and individualized curriculum plans are developed. Based on the assessment and evaluation, some course requirements may be transferred for credit and others may be waived in the following degrees: B.S. Information Technology, B.S. computer science, B.S. Cybersecurity or B.S. Artificial Intelligence. Prerequisites: Four-years of work experience, one or more industry certifications, plus at least 30 academic credits at the level of C or above are required to take this class. The class is pass/fail. (1 credit).
