Mechanical Engineering (B.S.)

The Marymount Engineering program provides students with the skills and tools necessary to develop technologies that enable individuals and communities to improve their quality of life.  With a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from Marymount University, students will create technological solutions that promote an individual’s ability to be active and engaged members of their community and society at-large.

Goals

Students in the Marymount University Engineering degree programs will G.I.V.E. back to their worldwide community by:

  • Gaining foundational knowledge in physical, health and life sciences.
  • Innovating technological solutions that address the barriers that limit participation in society.
  • Valuing research opportunities towards further graduate study in science, engineering and/or healthcare.
  • Extending skills to professional practice in industry, research and government agencies.
