EXSC 5120 CLINICAL EXERCISE PHYSIOLOGY
This course provides an advanced examination of contemporary concepts and research in clinical exercise physiology. Emphasis is placed on the pathophysiology of chronic diseases such as cardiovascular, metabolic, pulmonary, neurological, and musculoskeletal disorders, as well as cancer, with particular focus on their responses and adaptations to exercise. Furthermore, this course will also evaluate the effects of exercise training and rehabilitation interventions to improve health outcomes in individuals with chronic disease.
