Office of Residence Life

The Office of Residence Life, part of the Division of Student Affairs, is responsible for on-campus housing at Kean University. Residence halls provide students with a diverse and engaging community where they can explore new ideas, build meaningful connections, and develop independence. Living on campus offers a multicultural environment that fosters personal growth, responsible decision-making, and academic success through intentional programming and available resources.

The residence life program accommodates approximately 2,000 full-time undergraduate and graduate students across seven residence halls. The Office of Residence Life strives to create an environment that supports holistic student development. Through various programs and resources, students are encouraged to actively engage in their residential community while fostering both academic and personal growth.

The Office of Residence Life offers various services and amenities, including an academic center, cardio room, wireless internet, in-hall security, and recreational and social spaces.
